And Daddy, (who had a little fit en route to the zoo because he took the wrong exit and then wouldn't listen to the calm driving advice of his oh so astute wife) had another little fit as his entire family wanted our own lovely wagon and he thought we were too old for it. My husband, children are never too old for the wagon. It also carries all of our stuff, and a sleepy three year old. It cost us an additional $8.00 to rent a wagon, and trust me, it isn't the money.......it's the point. Lesson = listen to the wife.
And our favorite wildlife was actually the squirrel that ate from our hands. He seems to be a fan of crunchy little crackers.
And dude on the carousel - you are on the carousel with your kids. Get off the phone for goodness sakes. Seriously, disengage from the phone. Your kids will thank you for it.

That tree looks like the perfect climbing tree---I can't blame your boys for wanting to scale it! But I don't think that chubby squirrel does much climbing---he's too fat from begging crackers. :-)
Looks like a perfect spring outing!
Isn't that the truth! We have become so attached to our phones, et al that we forget to "be" where we are. Glad you had a good time...
A cell phone on a carousel??
The first time we took our daughter to Lincoln Park Zoo, the only thing that enchanted her were the pigeons.
(Perhaps that dad mistook the ride as a carou-cell.)
Too much with the cell phones. Goodness! I don't even have one. Why do I need to talk when I'm out doing stuff?
